나름 권위있는 그래미 상에는 대략 100여개의 부문이 있습니다
장르별, 성별 그리고 지역별, 앨범 그리고 노래 등으로 다양한 카테고리가 나눠져 있죠
대중음악을 넘어 클래식까지 음악 그 자체의 작품성에 초점을 두고 해마다 시상을 하고 있습니다
하지만 음악과의 연관성은 있으나 음악이 아닌 다른 창작물에 대한 부문도 몇 가지 마련되어 있더군요
올해의 앨범, 올해의 음악 등 메인 부문만이 중계되고 일부는 따로 시상식을 가지게 되서
언론에 노출되거나 회자되는 경우가 극히 드물지만 앨범 커버에 대한 부문도 꾸준히 시상되어 왔습니다
많지 않은 정보로 뚜렷한 시상의 잣대나 근거를 찾아볼 수는 없지만 그 면면을 살펴보면 흥미로울 거 같아
